Chorizo
Inspired by the classic food regions of Spain, the range of DON® Chorizos have been developed to provide a variety of flavours that reflect each region's particular style.
Using their vast knowledge of European deli meats, the DON® Fleischmeisters have scoured the many regional recipes to develop a range that is authentic to traditional Spanish styles.
Chorizo is made from a mix of chopped or ground pork and beef, blended with a range of spices including paprika, garlic, salt, herbs and spices. It is the paprika, which gives chorizo its characteristic flavour and red colour.
Chorizo can be barbecued and used as the centre of a meal or it can add a rich, Spanish flavour to stews, soups, sauces, paella, omelettes, quiches and sandwiches.
